Latest News on the Boat Show
The show will go on! All aspects of the show will be attempted as planned. Please come and help us poke a finger in Harvey's eye.
October 20th-22nd, 2017
Port Aransas suffered greatly from Harvey. Our main sponsor, Farley Boat Works was heavily damaged as well and needs our help. If you have been wondering how you can help with the recovery, please take a minute to donate whatever you can spare to help this great cause. All donationa are tax deductible as Farley is a non-profit.

Farley Boat Works, Duckworks Boat Builder's Supply and the Traditional Small Craft Association are once again teaming up to put on this grand event. If you've ever dreamed about building a boat you owe it to yourself to attend. This is your chance to see a lot of boats and to talk to the builders and some famous designers. You can try your hand at rowing a variety of skiffs; enjoy presentations about boat building; build a boat yourself during the Family Boatbuilding event. Bring the whole family; there will be activities for the kids! If you have already built a wooden boat, bring it to exhibit and share your experience with others.
If you have a boat that you want to display, please click HERE. All registration this year will be at the event site the day of the show. There is no charge for registration regardless of the number of boats shown. You will be able to purchase a T-shirt and meal tickets to the Picnic Reception at the Farley Boat Works.
This year we are asking anyone who has built or owns a model boat of any kind to consider displaying it at the show. We will have a specific display area for models.

This is the official website for the Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival. Our third annual event is over and we think it exceeded everyone's expectations. Below are a few pictures, and for even more photos from last year, click HERE for Gerard Mittelstaedt's website.
